The President signed the Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the State Regulation of Production and Turnover of Ethanol, Cognac and Fruit Spirits, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Products»  which abolishes the rule under which wine producers had to pay UAH 500 000 for wholesale certification.

«We welcome the decision of the President and Parliament. This is an important step to promote the revival of Ukrainian winemaking. We have repeatedly raised the issue at the meetings with players from Small Business. I am glad that we have been heard», - commented Taras Kutovyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to the Law, business entity, which has received a license for the production of alcoholic beverages (grape wines, fruit and honey drinks), and produces them with wine exclusively from their own production, has the right to carry out wholesale trade without obtaining a separate license.
